Use a smudge stick and encircle the selenite in its smoke. You may choose to employ the balancing sounds of a singing bowl or a bell. The frequencies emitted by these sacred instruments of sound can effectively recharge any crystal. The full moon or a bowl of dry salt will do an equally good job of cleansing your crystals. 
Selenite is made from gypsum. You can rinse selenite in water if you must, but for 3 seconds only. You should never soak selenite crystals in water. It can dissolve completely. Keep selenite out of direct prolonged sunlight, as it can cause loss of luster.
Selenite scratches, chips, dents, and fractures very easily. Due to its soft nature, please expect all Selenite products to have some minor imperfections.8
